Our Lessons

  • Private Lessons

Want to level up your playing, your way? Our private lessons are all about you. Each session is tailored to your goals and learning style. Whether that’s learning your favourite songs, sharpening your technique, or building the confidence to hit the stage.

You’ll be learning one-on-one with our expert teachers—gigging musos and uni-trained pros who bring real-world experience and a love of teaching into every lesson. And with our purpose-built rooms and top-notch equipment, you’ll feel inspired from the very first note.

Private lessons at Currumbin Rhythm aren’t about ticking boxes, they’re about having fun with music, growing at your own pace, and discovering what you’re truly capable of.

  • Kids Group Classes

    Junior Rhyme and Rhythm (2-4)
A magical “Mummy/Daddy & Me” musical journey! This playful class introduces little ones to the joy of songs, nursery rhymes, and rhythm. Together, we’ll sing, clap, stomp, shake, and move – exploring music through movement, instruments, and interactive games. Perfect for developing early language, memory, coordination, and confidence, all while having fun with caregivers by your side.

    Junior Percussion (3-5)
Step into the joyful world of music with our Group Percussion classes! Using colourful lollipop drums, shakers, tambourines, and plenty of clapping games, children explore rhythm, movement, and sound in a fun, relaxed environment.

Each session is filled with musical play, exploring contrasts like slow and fast, as well as loud and soft, all while marching with tambourines and joining in big percussion parades. Classes are designed especially for little ones, nurturing listening skills, teamwork, and confidence through music. No prior experience is needed, just bring your energy and curiosity! Every lesson balances playful activities with moments of calm.

  • Band Program

Ready to take it from the practice room to the stage? Our Band Program gives students the chance to play, collaborate, and create music as part of a real band. Over 8 weeks of 90-minute sessions, you’ll work with our ensemble teacher to put together a setlist, tighten up as a group, and finish with a performance or recording of what you’ve built together.

Students are usually recommended by their private teacher and need a solid foundation on their instrument to get the most out of the experience. It’s the perfect way to level up your playing, learn the art of performing with others, and feel the buzz of making music as a team.
